Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day. That is the standard work week for an average American. When looking for a job, people will consider looking for a company that has good benefits, hours, and culture. One way companies are starting to leverage themselves with good hours and a work-life balance is by switching to a 4 day work week. Instead of working 8 hours a day for 5 days a week they work 10 hours a day for 4 days a week, typically either having Monday or Friday off. Project management is no different; in order to do your job well, there are quite a few skills you need to really excel and thrive. These include communication, time management, planning, and leadership.

Most people tend to think that being a graphic designer is a solitary job. You hide out in a room and work on your computer, magically creating these designs and sending them off to clients. While this may be true, it does not have to be. One of the best parts of being a graphic designer is being able to collaborate with other designers.
