The Top 4 things I Love About Being A Project Coordinator!

From moving to California all the way from Minnesota and finding a job at an agency within a few weeks was crazy, to say the least, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Being at Pulse Marketing has been a huge help in shaping who I am. In 2 months it will be my 1 year work anniversary with Pulse and below are a few of my favorite things about being a Project Coordinator at this agency. 

1. Continuously Learning 

No two projects are ever the same. One minute I could be working on a magazine ad for a firearms company and the next minute a video production for a wedding venue. With each project comes, it’s own challenges, skills, and timelines. With that said I am constantly gathering helpful information, and learning new ways to structure projects in order to make things more efficient for everyone involved. It’s also much more than just learning about processes. I get to learn about new technology, products, and services thanks to our awesome clients. It has been a blast to be able to continuously learn in my job. 

2. Communication with Clients  

I get to work with clients all day, whether it be on the phone, in person, or through email. Since working at Pulse it has helped me break out of my shell because I am constantly in communication with many clients. I have had to push myself to be comfortable in certain situations where typically I wouldn’t be. I think communication is something everyone should strive to be better at, which is why I love that I am able to work on it daily. 

3. Never A Dull Moment  

Working within an agency there is always something going on. From team meetings, client calls, video or photo shoots, to collaborating with other team members there is no time to be bored. You are constantly doing something. The other plus side of the agency is that no day is ever the same. 

4. Start to Finish 

Last, but not least one of my absolute favorite things about being a project coordinator is being able to see the full life of a project from the very start to the very end. It could be anything from a website, logo, flyer, or video. From talking with the client at the very beginning to hearing their vision, then being able to portray that to the team and watching it come to life is just an awesome thing. 

In summary, I love that I am continuously learning, communicating with clients, never have a boring day at work and get to see projects develop into something awesome. Those are just a few of my favorite things about my job, what are yours?
